She's Crafty
Yes it's more than just a Beastie Boys song....it's what my kids have been saying for the past several months. I've been going nuts making things with pictures, paint and modge podge. Simple, yet fun and great way to spend a day or two. First, I would paint a canvas whatever color/design I wanted the 'picture frame' to be. It usually took two coats depending on the colors used. After the painted has dried, I would use super glue to secure the pictures. I've found it extremely important to put the glue around the outside of the picture and be very careful when placing the pic on the canvas. After an hour of applying the super glue, I would start my first coat of modge podge. I usually do 3 coats. Then WALLA! A fun little photo plaque or a fun picture frame. Perfect for a gift or a cheap piece of home decor for a rec room or kids room. Hey, if it's perfect, use it in your living room.
PS. sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. I promise to try my hardest not to do it again :)

FLORIDA!!!!
So we went to Florida for the kids Feb. school break. We drove....we hated every second of the car times, but we sure did make a lot of memories :) Our first stop was at M's parents. There, we hung out, did minor shopping and went to the Florida state fair....AMAZING!!! Biggest fair I've ever been to, we met up with our friend Tim and his family/friends. After the fair, we dropped the kids off and went to Tampa for Gasparilla festival..street parade, bar hop, people watch. I felt like I was at Mardi Gras. After this excitement, we packed up the campers and went camping at the keys!!!!! This is second favorite vacation (Cali is my ultimate fav). We saw/did a lot of stuff while we were there...I'll post up pics, because I could type forever forever FOREVER! After the keys, we headed to M's grandma's house. We visited family and spent a couple nights with friends (Justin and Ken).
M and I went out a lot on our own while in Florida....we NEVER get a sitter so we def take advantage of it when we have it. Being out with him, by ourselves was amazing. I had almost forgot that he is such an amazing guy. <3
The ride home was a little on the miserable side. We were all wanting our bed, showers, personal space. Again, it was bad, but there were great memories made.
